Our Story

At Pretty farm girl, our products are handcrafted in small batches with the finest & freshest organic ingredients. When possible, we source ingredients from our farm and other small farms in the community.  We create clean, natural, and luxurious products your skin will love!

My name is Jen, and I am the proud momma of three precious humans.  In 2017, we bought a small farm in Myakka City, FL. We wanted to enjoy a life more connected to the earth, homestead, and practice sustainable farming.

I started making my own skincare products years ago when I could not soothe my troubled skin. My skin struggled with eczema and psoriasis after the birth of my second child.

Pretty farm girl was started from the smallest corner of my kitchen, where soap making was my first endeavor. After friends and family began to rave over my products, I soon realized that this passion could be a business. 

 

NOURISHING OIL WITH A PURPOSE

Our products are created using cold-pressed, unrefined oils. We believe what you put on your skin should be nourishing like food. Therefore, the oils found in our recipes serve a purpose, to nourish and protect your skin. In addition, by not exposing the oils to high temperature, they retain most of the natural active ingredients that give your skin access to the healing properties found within the oils.

NOURISHING AROMA WITH A PURPOSE

Pretty farm girl uses only the highest quality essential oils that are the product of steam distillation or CO2 extraction. The beauty of these methods we believe provides the safest and most nourishing oils for your skin.

NOURISHING SOAP WITH A PURPOSE

The soaps I make do not have any artificial colors, fragrances, or added chemicals to them. I use an old fashion process to make them.

NOURISHING ORGANIC SKINCARE WITH A PURPOSE

All of our skincare products are made, using the finest organic ingredients, simple and pure! I take a less is more approach to everything I create. Our products are scented lightly with 100% pure therapeutic-grade essential oils. I never use synthetic fragrances, harsh chemicals or parabens, to name a few. We use only clean products that offer you effective, non-toxic alternatives for beautiful, healthy skin.  We believe that skincare products with zero added chemicals can work just as well, if not better, than high-end brands with hard-to-pronounce chemical ingredients.

So along with eating whole foods from our farm and using my own line of skincare products, my skin has improved significantly. I use these products on my whole family and they are so pure you could eat them. We hope you love them as much as we do!
