What is body butter good for?
Caring for your skin shouldn’t be a chore, and it shouldn’t leave your skin feeling oily. Organic body butter is used to nourish and repair your skin with its ultra-rich moisture. The ingredients used are simple yet effective. If you work in conditions where you are exposed to harsh chemicals, drastic changes in temperature, or you swim in chlorinated water regularly, you removing moisture from your skin. Dry skin can cause itchiness and irritation, and in severe cases, can break the skin. Moisturising butter rehydrates the skin; and leaves your body smelling great!
Where can body butter be used?
The great part of using butters for your skin? They are very versatile and can be used on virtually any part of the body.
Face
Your face is one of your most exposed parts of your body, even in the coldest of temperatures, your face is usually not covered up. You can use luxury body butter as usual by applying a dollop and spreading evenly, or you can use the body butter as a face mask. Offering even more moisturisation.
Arms and hands
Your extremities are also a good place to use body butter. Your arms and elbows are especially key parts of the body that require moisturising. These areas tend to become particularly dry, which is why an all-natural body butter is a popular way to rehydrate them.
Legs and feet
Similar to your elbows and hands, feet and knees can also become very dry. These areas are often overlooked, but they can benefit greatly from organic body butter. The reason these areas are more likely to be dry, is because these areas have fewer oil glands.
What ingredients can be used for organic body butter?
Tallow
A form of animal fat made from beef or mutton, tallow contains different fat-soluble vitamins such as A, D and E. Tallow is an all-natural substance, that is preservative free. We only use high quality grass-fed Tallow. It is used in a wide range of lotions, balms and butters as an effective way to moisturise skin.
Olive oil
Olive oil is a rich oil full of antioxidants. Originating from the Mediterranean, it was used for its anti-aging properties. When olive oil is applied to the skin, it helps improve its elasticity.
Jojoba oil
Jojoba oil soothes and moisturises skin; reducing the amount of sebum produced from different follicles. Sebum is a natural way your skin hydrates your skin, but leaves an oily look, and can cause acne.
Raw Honey
If you have had some form of skin abrasion, often caused by eczema and acne, it will leave some noticeable damage to your skin. Raw honey helps heal the wounds left and can bring moisture from the air onto your skin.
