We recommend a daily routine that includes cleansing, balancing, treating, and moisturizing the skin, with weekly inclusions of exfoliators and masks.

As each person's skin is unique, you may need a little more included, or a little less. Here's how you can make that come to life for naturally glowing skin.

Breaking it Down

Night

Cleansing is best done once a day, at night, for most.

If you work out in the morning, you may need to cleanse twice a day.

At night, remove makeup, sunscreen, and daily grime with a natural oil cleanser.

Follow with a cleansing grain, or a tallow based soap.

Night

Apply your exfoliant to dry skin using your fingertips or a cotton pad. Let it absorb fully before moving on to your next step (like a serum or moisturizer).

Since exfoliation can be too much if done too often, use lactic acid 2–3 times per week in the evening rather than every day.

Always follow up with sunscreen in the morning, as exfoliation can make your skin more sun-sensitive.

Pump 2-3 sprays of your hydrosol toner directly onto your face and pat into the skin.

Tip: Spray 2-3 pumps of hydrosol onto your hand, and drop 2-3 drops of your serum onto the liquid. Emulsify by mixing together. Press into the skin.

While the face is still damp from the hydrosol, drop 2-3 drops of serum into your hand and mix together. Press gently into skin.

Lightly dab the tallow cream with 2 fingers and rub evenly between the fingers on both hands. Press gently into the skin.

Or pump 2-3 pumps of emu oil onto your fingertips and massage together. Press into the skin.

  • For Acne-Prone Skin: Double cleanse with an oil cleanser and charcoal soap bar. Balance skin with an anti-inflammatory toner, and treat skin with an anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial serum.
