Tallow is nutrient-rich, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and compatible with our skin's natural makeup and structure. In fact, the word "sebum" actually means "tallow" in Latin! Tallow is so similar in composition to our own skin sebum that it is often called “skin identical”. This makes it non-irritating and gentle enough to use on sensitive skin types. 

Honey is a nutrient-rich substance known for centuries to heal wounds and nourish the skin and body. Honey contains a variety of properties that your skin loves. It can help balance, heal, and soften the skin. With its natural antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, it has many benefits for irritated, inflamed, or damaged skin.

Blue Tansy Flower Oil reduces redness and irritation, anti-inflammatory, possesses skin clearing and soothing properties. It may help with reducing blemishes.

Storage:
To keep your body butter fresh and stable, store in a cool, dry, and dark place—away from direct sunlight and humidity. We recommend avoiding storage in the bathroom, since the warmth and moisture can affect the texture and shelf life of natural products.

Order Processing

We aim to process orders within 7 business days (Monday–Friday). Please note that we have no control over USPS transit times. Delivery routes and estimated arrival dates are subject to change due to weather, holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any delays or route changes are the responsibility of USPS or UPS.

Expedited shipping methods (Priority, 3-day, 2-day shipping) only apply to the transit time once the package is with the mail carrier and do not speed up the order processing/fulfillment time.

Free Shipping

We offer free shipping within the U.S. and U.S. territories on orders over $75. This free shipping option will be sent via USPS Ground Advantage and does not include USPS Priority or UPS. Orders must total $75 or more after discounts are applied and before checkout to qualify.

Lost or Damaged Packages

Pretty Farm Girl offers Sustainability & Coverage from Corso as shipping protection. If your order is damaged, lost, or stolen and you have purchased this coverage, you may file a claim through Corso to receive a reorder or a refund. Please contact customerservice@prettyfarmgirl.com for assistance with these claims. Be sure to include your order details and any necessary photos of damaged items to complete the claim.If shipping protection is not purchased at checkout, you agree to take full responsibility for any lost, damaged, or undelivered packages. Failure to include the Insurance in your order will void a refund or replacement of lost or damaged orders.

If your order is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 30 days of your order date so we can assist you. If more than 30 days have passed since your order was placed, we are unable to offer a refund or replacement. 

Refunds

Due to the nature of our products, all purchases are final. We cannot accept refunds, exchanges, or returns.  

We provide a full ingredient list for every product. Please be sure to read it for any possible allergens before ordering. Pretty Farm Girl is inculpable for any adverse reaction or allergy to our products.

We understand that each person has a unique preference in scents and textures. However as a small handcrafted business we cannot offer returns or exchanges for a dislike of scents, textures, or colors. 

HEAT WARNING: From May - September, your body butter or face cream may arrive in a melted or runny consistency.

As our creams and body butters are whipped, this may result in the expected volume of the product appearing less than full. We assure you that we fill our jars completely to the top, however if you choose to purchase a body butter or face cream you are consenting to the possibility of it arriving in this reduced, melted, or runny state. 

We are doing as much as we can on our end to ship our body butters and face creams in a condition that will not melt.

The condition depends on where you live and the care of the postal team. We communicate directly with our postal pick up team, but cannot control the journey it takes to reach you.

We highly recommend selecting Priority Shipping at checkout for the fastest shipping transit time. (Please note that shipping time does not affect processing time to pack the order)

If your body butter arrives melted or runny, please put it in the refrigerator to re-solidify. 

The quality of the ingredients will remain intact even if the consistency is different than expected.

    I really enjoyed this tallow more than I thought I would. I appreciate the quality Prettyfarmgirl provides with their items. I have used tallow before and it broke me out, smelled like raw meat and just was not a good experience. I stayed away from tallow after that.\n\nThen I heard about Prettyfarmgirl's castor oil. It was my first and only purchase. This castor oil is the only one I saw results from so I knew this brand had integrity. Therefore I took baby steps towards the tallow-went with the lip balm first and my lips were super soft. So then had the courage to try the body butter. And WOW. A little goes along way and it has helped with my arm bumps, redness and cracked heels while adding an all day softness (i hate reapplying) I'm busy-i cant sit there and apply lotion ever 5 hours. I transitioned to body oils and now intergrated tallow which literally melts in my skin (Makes my body feel so feminine and soft). I am super happy with this item-fyi the tansy is a strong scent. \n\nRight ingredients, clean/pure, and high quality ingredients give you results. And results are what keeps me coming back to this brand.
