My name is Jen, and I am a proud farmer, wife, and momma of three precious humans. I started making my own skincare products after the birth of my second child when nothing could soothe my eczema and psoriasis troubled skin.
I unlocked the secret to naturally healthier skin when I began using organic grass-fed tallow and our farm's organic goat milk. With these farm fresh ingredients, I began making my own soaps, body butter, and face creams. My skin has made a full recovery, and Pretty Farm Girl was formed as I began to share my formulations with other families looking for natural, nontoxic solutions to their skin concerns.

Tallow closely resembles our skin’s own oils, making it easy for the skin to absorb and use. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties that make it ideal for calming irritated or inflamed skin.

Tallow is packed with essential fatty acids, vitamins A, D, E, and K, and antioxidants, nourishing and repairing the skin from the inside out. These nutrients also support the skin's natural barrier, which is key to maintaining moisture, promoting elasticity, and fighting off damage from environmental factors.

Because it’s rich in both lactic acid and gentle alpha-hydroxy acids it works as a natural exfoliant, removing dead skin cells to reveal the healthier younger skin cells that lie underneath.
